WeWork, Spitalfields

Just off Bishopsgate, WeWork Spitalfields is an oasis of calm in the midst of busy Shoreditch. The American property company has opened the doors to its second London branch earlier this year. Now there are 6 London locations with a Chancery Lane branch opening soon. Renting an office space here guarantees you great micro-roasted coffee, showers and bike storage among many other perks.

Second Home, Shoreditch

If you ever taken a stroll down Brick Lane, turned into Hanbury Street and double take as you pass what looks like a sixties era spaceship, it might have been Second Home. Brain-child of the renowned architects SelgasCano, the building is themed with citric oranges, yellows and curving fixtures – their creation isn’t static, it feels alive (But not in a HAL 9000 kind of way). Interestingly, it is not only home to a variety of tech start-ups but also to the much loved Jago Restaurant.

Bootstrapcompany

Small start-ups and hard-working individuals can find an inspiring work base in Bootstrapcompany’s office space in the middle of fashionable Dalston. The bright and open, industrial offices look out on vibrant greenery which drapes the roof garden; if you’re looking for a fresh and positive community feel, you’ve come across the right place.

db96

Located just north of Shoreditch, within touching distance of Central London, this bright, bare-bricked studio is an instant home to any bright, entrepreneurial team. Its name simply comes from the street name and number, which is part of the building’s main attraction; its quiet seclusion makes for a pleasant contrast to the conventional, bustling, London office space. If you are part of a small-ish, close-knit team who are up for collaboration, this location is worth serious consideration.

Bathtub2Boardroom

This particular co-working space faultlessly captures the essence of cooperation; as a registered charity, their aim is to cultivate young businesses where others will not by converting stagnant commercial office space into community hubs. Currently they have properties in the City of London and East London but they are rapidly expanding. Remarkably, booking for one day is £10 and if you like it, the full-time price only £200 per month. Bath2Boardroom is a fantastic option for any business finding its feet, but it is also a great office space in its own right.
